Mother

At Dawn She is a mother of a new-born— us; the baby lying helplessly in Her arms is who She loves the most.
By Morning she is feeding, nurturing, loving and caring for us.
At Noon She is seeing us laugh, cry, observe, learn; She is talking to us, guiding us as we look around and experience new things.
Come Daytime and we are going away from the shelter of her love and care as we look for other entertainments; while She waits patiently for us to come back to her.
As Sunset approaches, we begin to sense Her absence, and try to seek Her back; but we don't let go of what we see as pleasurable. Such is the blindness caused by the shimmer that we can't even see that She is right there.
By the time it is Dusk, Her absence creates a void in us that can be filled only by Her; we cry to call Her but She doesn’t come to us. She is calling us back.
Come Night and we run, walk, crawl, slide and do tread all possible paths, cross all obstacles to reach our Mama... She too helps, by destroying all that had kept us from Her till now.
At Midnight we are in Her vicinity so as to see her, feel Her longing for us; She is so close that the background of all other things has faded out completely.
What's the darkest hour of the night for us, is the promise of a new dawn for the Mother. Just before dawn She embraces us to put us to sleep, whilst She gets ready to again be a mother; again help us to grow, guide us to the moral and human light, see us falter then help us back up, bear the pain of separation when we ignore Her, and finally extend Her hand when we reach back to Her...
